Association Rule Mining & igraph

327 Tweets were collected using the hashtag "hotelreview" and the following two graphs are created by igraph to show the results of ARM.

Top 50 Association Rules(measured by lift) of Hotel Reviews

  • Node size was based on the number of degree for each node

​

  • "Hotel", "breakfast", "staff" and "clean" are most frequently mentioned in hotel reviews

  • A new rule-set was created by requiring that "hotel" must be the only element on the left had side

  • Words around the hotel are indeed related to the hotel stay
